PT. Megah Sembada Industries (MSI) is one of Indonesia’s largest and most respected manufacturers of disposable nonwoven for hygiene care products and aims to become a major player internationally in the future. MSI was established in 1990 to meet the rapid growth in demand for nonwovens for sanitary napkins, baby diapers and other hygiene care products. Since then we have added polylaminated tissue, converted one ply tissue and cast polyethylene (CPE) film in our production range.
MSI expects future growth in Indonesian domestic market as it is home to the 4th largest population in the world and the consumption of hygiene care products is still relatively small especially in the rural areas. The three main growth drivers are the rising levels of disposable income, increased awareness on health and hygiene among consumers and rapid urbanization.
